Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) Athens, TN Full-Time Join a Growing Interventional Pain Management Practice! Our established and busy interventional pain management practice is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in Athens, Tennessee. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients in an outpatient interventional pain management setting. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Order, interpret, and review appropriate diagnostic testing. Prescribe medications and therapies within the scope of practice. Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Efficiently manage a daily patient schedule while delivering exceptional patient care and customer service. Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality, evidence-based care. Qualifications Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Current Tennessee NP or PA license (or ability to obtain licensure). Minimum of 2 years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience required. Previous experience in pain management, orthopedics, physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R), neurology, primary care, emergency medicine, or urgent care is preferred but not required. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
