Position Overview As a Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) , you will enjoy a high degree of clinical autonomy while working alongside a collaborative team of physicians and specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed neurological examinations and evaluate patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic neurological disorders. Develop and implement comprehensive patient management plans, record detailed progress notes, and ensure continuity of care. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately identify and assess patients' clinical problems. Prescribe targeted therapies or medications in alignment with clinic protocols and physician collaboration. Collaborate closely with the wider neurology team to optimize complex patient care. Advocate for health promotion and disease prevention while offering empathetic guidance and counseling to patients and their families.
Qualifications Education:
Master's degree in Nursing (AANP or ANCC certified) from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Current and unrestricted state license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) / Nurse Practitioner (NP).
Experience:
2+ years of clinical provider experience specifically in neurology.
Skills:
Strong clinical acumen with a proven ability to work independently and autonomously. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-first mentality are essential.
