Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Pulmonology Clinic LiveWell Homecare Agency Clarksville, TN Job Details Full-time 17 hours ago Qualifications Intubation Pulmonary critical care Advanced airway management Advanced practice provider Mechanical ventilation in healthcare Critical care (emergency response procedures) Prescribing medications Critical illness management Full Job Description The Nurse Practitioner assists with the management of Pulmonary Critical Care Service Line patients, supporting Pulmonologists and other physicians with admissions, rounds, consults, history and physicals, and discharges within their scope of practice. Requirements include a graduate degree from an accredited nursing or Physician Assistant program, current Tennessee licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician's Assistant, and national certification in a nursing specialty. Prescriptive authority, proficiency in critical care skills (intubation, line placement, ventilator management), and
ACLS/BLS
certification are essential. Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of healthcare experience with critical acute care background preferred. The position is full-time, days, Monday through Friday, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center's Pulmonology Unit.
