Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care to patients as a Family Nurse Practitioner, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications within scope, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals under collaborative practice agreements. Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and perform procedures as skilled (e.g., IV insertion, catheterization, suturing as needed). Coordinate patient care across settings, maintain accurate EMR/EHR documentation, and educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention. Ensure adherence to scope of practice, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements, including DEA/compliance considerations.
