Dayton Internal Medicine is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our established primary care practice. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Perform comprehensive examinations and routine follow-up visits Develop and manage individualized treatment plans Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness Provide preventive care, screenings, and patient education Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical documentation Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and value-based care programs Work collaboratively with our providers, clinical staff, and administrative team Follow all applicable clinical, ethical, and HIPAA requirements Qualifications Current Tennessee license as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Current national board certification DEA registration or eligibility to obtain it Ability to obtain Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance credentialing Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication, documentation, and time-management skills A professional, reliable, and team-focused approach Commitment to providing respectful, high-quality care to every patient Primary care or internal medicine experience is preferred; however, qualified candidates with strong clinical training and a desire to grow in outpatient primary care are encouraged to apply.
