Job Description

Job Summary Premier Weight Management is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The nurse practitioner will evaluate patients, provide medical guidance, develop individualized weight-management plans, prescribe appropriate medications when indicated, and monitor patient progress. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently while also collaborating with our medical team and clinic staff. We are looking for someone who is personable, professional, confident with patient education, and passionate about helping improve their health and reach their weight-loss goals. Responsibilities Perform patient evaluations and follow-up visits Review medical history, medications and vital signs Develop and manage individualized weight-loss treatment plans Prescribe weight-management medications Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff Provide excellent patient care in a welcoming and professional environment Qualifications Current Tennessee Nurse Practitioner license. Current Prescriptive authority. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong clinical judgement and attention to detail. Dependable, professional and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting. Experience in weight management, primary care, wellness, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Pay:
From $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 21.0 per week
