Job Description
Alumni Healthcare Staffing is seeking Primary Care locum tenens providers to support client facilities across Tennessee. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care, performing routine exams, managing acute and chronic conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. You will document care in EMR systems, collaborate with onsite clinical teams, and follow all quality and compliance protocols. This contract opportunity offers flexible assignments, the chance to impact patient care in diverse communities, and the support of a collaborative, service-driven staffing partner. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care to diverse patient populations in Tennessee-based clinics Conduct routine exams, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests Develop and document evidence-based treatment plans and follow-up care Prescribe medications and counsel patients on disease prevention and wellness Collaborate with onsite clinical teams and support staff for coordinated care Ensure accurate, timely charting in EMR systems per facility standards Adhere to quality, safety, and compliance guidelines and facility protocols Provide coverage as a locum tenens provider based on assignment schedule Communicate effectively with Alumni Healthcare Staffing and client facilities regarding availability and performance Required Skills Primary care medicine Outpatient clinical assessment Chronic disease management Acute care management Diagnostic test ordering and interpretation EMR documentation Patient education and counseling Medication management and prescribing Care coordination Regulatory and compliance knowledge
