Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a growing primary care practice in Smyrna, Tennessee. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is confident in managing chronic conditions, preventive care, and acute visits while maintaining strong patient relationships and clinical autonomy within a collaborative physician-led setting. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans Manage preventative care, wellness visits, and patient education Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with Tennessee regulations Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care Participate in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives Qualifications Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Tennessee Board certification (FNP, AGNP, or related primary care specialty) Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (primary care strongly preferred) Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered approach Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient setting Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based off experience Full medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Why Join Us Established and growing patient base Supportive clinical and administrative team Consistent weekday schedule (no nights or weekends) Opportunity to build long-term patient relationships Stable, high-demand specialty with strong growth Apply today to join a practice committed to high-quality, patient-centered care in the Smyrna community.
