Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs
- Perform minor procedures such as cryotherapy, simple I&D, intraarticular injection
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyles
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred
- Experience in a medical office or clinical setting is preferred
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (Cerner is preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of current healthcare policies, regulations, and best practices
