Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience across various medical specialties. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Duties
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and screenings
- Provide counseling on family planning and reproductive health
- Assist with sterile processing of medical equipment
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient's overall well-being
- Administer basic life support measures when necessary
- Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture for lab testing
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and self-care techniques
- Specialize in specific areas such as ICU or senior care as needed Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Certification in Family Practice or relevant specialty area
- Proven experience in providing direct patient care as a Nurse Practitioner
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Please note we are looking for Full-time and PRN candidates
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, PRN Pay:
$90,000.00- $120,000.
