In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering essential urgent care services, expertly diagnosing and treating acute conditions, providing comprehensive patient education, and making appropriate referrals. Every shift you will:

Obtain and accurately record comprehensive medical histories and perform thorough physical examinations. Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including labs. Formulate precise diagnoses based on clinical findings and diagnostic results. Identify and prescribe appropriate pharmacologic agents and non-pharmacologic interventions, adhering strictly to relevant state board guidelines and collaborative agreements. Provide comprehensive education and counseling to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care. Make appropriate and timely referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. Contribute to the vital care delivered in our Express Care clinics, selecting shifts (12-hour weekday, 8-hour weekend) that align with your availability. To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active or eligible license in the state of Texas. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient satisfaction, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and display exceptional interpersonal skills. Prior Urgent Care experience is beneficial, but new graduates eager to learn and grow are welcome. Understand, support, and implement the facility's mission to deliver healthcare to those in need. Ensure patient care and satisfaction consistently meet or exceed quality standards in all job responsibilities. Educate patients on clinical and managed care, actively participating as an effective clinic team member in task forces as appropriate. Meet productivity targets, effectively utilizing clinic financial and performance information to drive continuous improvement.
