Core Responsibilities Patient Care:
Conduct comprehensive orthopedic and neurological physical examinations and patient assessments.
Treatment Planning:
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized, conservative care plans for musculoskeletal spine conditions.
Collaboration:
Partner closely with the Supervising Physician to ensure coordinated, seamless patient care.
Telehealth:
Utilize telehealth platforms to improve patient access and conduct virtual follow-ups.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation in the EMR in compliance with HIPAA and billing standards.
Patient Education:
Counsel patients on health management, treatment expectations, and preventive care.
Qualifications & Requirements Licensure:
Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the State of Texas.
Experience:
None Required. Experience in musculoskeletal management is a plus.
Certifications:
Current BLS certification and an active DEA registration (or willingness to obtain DEA prior to start date).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with major EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks) and familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding.
Clinical Competencies:
Strong skills in musculoskeletal triage, conservative spine care management, and the ability to handle acute symptom flares effectively.
