Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate part time Pain Nurse Practitioner/PAC to work 2 days a week (1099 preferred). In this vital role, you will deliver expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients experiencing chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will help improve patient quality of life through innovative pain management strategies, including medication administration, procedural interventions, and holistic care approaches. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with the physician to make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments focusing on pain evaluation, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories. Develop and implement individualized pain management plans utilizing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, including injections Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, behavioral health specialists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans. Educate patients on pain management techniques, medication use, and lifestyle modifications; provide health coaching tailored to individual needs. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification Advanced Practice Provider (APP). Pain experience preferred but mandatory. Will train the right candidate. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, drug interactions , and diagnostic evaluation techniques such as CT/MRI Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about complex treatment options. Pay:
$65.00 - $75.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week
