Job Description
We are seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology to provide patient-centered care under physician supervision at our Lubbock clinic. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and managing gastrointestinal and liver conditions, ordering diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and educating patients. The NP collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care and maintains accurate documentation. Requirements include a Master's in Nursing, an active Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology. The position is scheduled for two days per week (8 hours each), with potential for additional shifts, on-site in a clinical setting. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to high standards of care. Physical ability to perform clinical duties and work environment safety are essential. Relocation to Farwell, TX, is required prior to start.
