We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. As an NP , you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where your skills and expertise will be valued and appreciated.Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary.
- Provide patient education on preventive care, health maintenance, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Weekend hospital rounding will consist of seeing newborns only, with no procedures required, for a couple of weekends each month.
- Work at both our Cypress and Houston locations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing (NP) .
- Current state licensure in Texas as an NP.
- Certification as an NP by a recognized national certifying body.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or a related field preferred.
- Will train new grads
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team.
Benefits :
Hourly Salary:
$50-55 per hour, based on experience.- Extra pay for weekend calls Join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients every day!
