Katy, Texas Join a Growing, Physician-Owned Primary Care Practice SteadFast Primary Care is looking for an experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who is seeking more than simply their next position. We are looking for a provider who wants to establish a long-term home within a growing Family Medicine practice, develop their own patient panel, and build lasting relationships with patients and families. We are a physician-owned independent primary care group serving the rapidly growing Katy and Fulshear communities. Our providers care for patients from age 5 through geriatrics, with a strong emphasis on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, acute care and long-term continuity of care. This is a full-time position for a provider who enjoys autonomy while also valuing collaboration and direct access to an experienced physician and clinical team. Responsibilities include:
Provide comprehensive primary care for patients age 5 and older Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and common outpatient conditions Diagnose and manage chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disorders and obesity Provide preventive care, screenings and routine health maintenance Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans Coordinate referrals and specialty care when appropriate Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Develop long-term relationships with patients and families Collaborate with physicians, APPs, MAs and administrative staff to provide efficient, high-quality care What We're Looking For Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Active and unrestricted Texas APRN license Current prescriptive authority/eligibility Outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Urgent Care experience strongly preferred Comfortable independently caring for patients age 5 through geriatrics Comfortable managing both acute and chronic primary care conditions Able to manage an established schedule of approximately 16-18 patients per day Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong commitment to continuity of care and patient relationships Reliable, professional and team-oriented Interested in a full-time, long-term position Spanish/English bilingual ability is a significant advantage , but not required The Provider We're Hoping to Find We are especially interested in someone who wants to become an important part of the practice—not simply see patients and leave at the end of the day.
