Our providers enjoy clinical autonomy while working closely with an accessible physician-owner and a collaborative APP team. Schedule Patient care Compensation Choose a consistent schedule of 32 to 40 paid hours weekly; Part Time also available All ages from 12 months+ with approximately 3 visits per hour Starting at $65 per paid scheduled hour plus annual incentive The position This is a full-time outpatient position with no hospital responsibilities and no after-hours call. Each provider develops a consistent schedule of 32 to 40 paid hours weekly within BFM's office hours. Paid administrative time is built into the schedule at approximately one hour for every eight to nine hours of scheduled patient care. Evening and Saturday coverage is shared across the provider team, generally including one or two evenings until 7:00 p.m. weekly and approximately two Saturday mornings monthly. Saturday hours are included within the selected schedule. Part-time applicants may also be considered. Clinical practice Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care for patients age 12 months and older Evaluate patients, establish diagnoses, and develop evidence-based treatment plans Order and interpret laboratory testing, imaging, and other diagnostic studies Manage common chronic conditions and provide medication management and refills Perform wellness visits, including Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and women's preventive care Perform office procedures such as joint injections, incision and drainage, punch biopsy, and lesion removal according to training and experience Provide patient education and participate in coordinated, value-based care Document efficiently and accurately in eClinicalWorks What makes BFM different Independent, physician-owned practice with local decision-making Established patient base and strong community reputation Experienced APP colleagues and direct physician collaboration Modern 7,500-square-foot clinic with 12 exam rooms and onsite laboratory services Appointment templates that alternate 15- and 30-minute visits Early, evening, and Saturday access for patients without hospital call Commercial, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, TRICARE, and self-pay patient mix Qualifications Graduate of an accredited U.S. Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner program Current or eligible unrestricted Texas PA or APRN license and national certification Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain it before beginning practice Outpatient family medicine, primary care, or urgent care experience preferred Comfort caring for patients across the lifespan and managing both acute and chronic conditions Strong communication, teamwork, professionalism, and commitment to evidence-based care Experienced applicants are preferred. Exceptional new graduates with substantial prior emergency, ICU, or other relevant RN experience are encouraged to apply.
