Job Description
Overview Hays Primary Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Internal Medicine practice in Kyle, Texas. The provider will deliver comprehensive primary care services to adult patients while collaborating closely with our physicians and clinical team. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments Develop individualized treatment plans Manage acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies Prescribe medications in accordance with applicable laws and clinical guidelines Provide preventive care, health education, and lifestyle counseling Complete annual wellness visits and routine follow-up appointments Coordinate patient care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals Maintain timely and accurate documentation in AdvancedMD EHR Follow HIPAA requirements, clinical policies, and applicable healthcare regulations Requirements Current and unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license Current national board certification DEA registration or ability to obtain Primary Care or Internal Medicine experience preferred Experience managing adult patients with acute and chronic conditions AdvancedMD experience is a plus Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a healthcare team Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care Benefits Competitive compensation Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid Time Off Paid sick time Paid holidays Continuing Medical Education Collaborative physician support
