Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic growing healthcare team as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at Sulphur Creek Primary & Urgent Care, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care across diverse settings. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work closely with patients of all ages, providing preventive, acute, and chronic care while utilizing your extensive clinical expertise. You will be empowered to make a meaningful impact on rural community health through collaborative practice, innovative treatment approaches, and compassionate patient engagement. Your expertise will help foster healthier lives and promote wellness in every individual you serve. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to determine health status and needs. Provide acute care interventions such as wound suturing, IV infusion, and pain management strategies to stabilize and treat patients effectively. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Athena for accurate documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and medical records. Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing laboratory experience, medical imaging, sonography, and clinical research insights to inform treatment decisions. Manage chronic conditions such as geriatrics, diabetes, hypertension, and infectious diseases with a focus on patient education and adherence. Skills Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Willing to hire new graduates if the candidate is a good fit. Extensive clinical skills including suturing, phlebotomy, injection administration, sterile processing techniques, and aseptic technique adherence but willing to train. Strong knowledge of pharmacology for medication administration. Experience with telehealth platforms to deliver remote consultations effectively while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate billing and utilization review processes.
