Family Nurse Practitioner

Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to determine health status and needs. Provide acute care interventions such as wound suturing, IV infusion, and pain management strategies to stabilize and treat patients effectively. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Athena for accurate documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and medical records. Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing laboratory experience, medical imaging, sonography, and clinical research insights to inform treatment decisions. Manage chronic conditions such as geriatrics, diabetes, hypertension, and infectious diseases with a focus on patient education and adherence. Skills Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Willing to hire new graduates if the candidate is a good fit. Extensive clinical skills including suturing, phlebotomy, injection administration, sterile processing techniques, and aseptic technique adherence but willing to train. Strong knowledge of pharmacology for medication administration. Experience with telehealth platforms to deliver remote consultations effectively while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate billing and utilization review processes.

From $65.00 per hour
