Physician Assistant / Family Nurse Practitioner Rapid-Med Urgent Care - 2.6 Lewisville, TX Job Details Full-time From $111,000 a year 4 days ago Benefits Employee discount Professional development assistance Retirement plan Qualifications BLS Certification ACLS Certification Advanced practice provider Urgent care Patient interaction General practice Family medicine Full Job Description Rapid-Med Urgent Care Center is currently seeking full-time Advanced Practice Providers to join our team. As an APP, you will spend most of your time treating patients from 9 months to adult by providing a variety of urgent care services as well as primary care services.
Location:
Argyle, TX and/or Double Oak, TX (APPs rotate between our 2 clinics)
Hours:
Shifts will be either 9 or 12 hours, depending on the day. Rapid-Med is currently open M-F 8am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am to 5pm. Schedules are based on minimum monthly hours not 40-hour work weeks.
Responsibilities:
Clinically evaluate and treat children and adults for allergies and rashes, chest pain, headaches and migraines, on-site x-rays, skin infections and abscesses, bronchitis and pneumonia, fevers, influenza, general GYN, sore throat and strep, acute abdominal pain, gastrointestinal infections with nausea and vomiting, sinus infections, urinary tract infections, eye injuries, lacerations, foreign body removal, sprains, strains, and fracture care. Primary Care, Preventative Care, Travel Medicine, and On Demand services offering Virtual Visits. Care limited to patients over the age of 9 months.
Requirements:
Full-time Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner with an active license in the state of Texas must be Board Certified. ACLS and BLS certification required.
Salary:
Transparent pay structure based on years of experience.
