Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and vital signs measurement. Provide primary and specialized women's health services such as family planning, prenatal care, menopause management, and screening for gynecological cancers. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and state regulations. Perform procedures including Pap smears, suturing, IUD insertions, and other minor gynecological interventions. Utilize electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on health maintenance, lifestyle modifications, contraceptive options, and disease prevention strategies. Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans for diverse patient populations. Requirements Current Nurse Practitioner license with certification in Women's Health or Gynecology. Proven experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in women's health settings or related fields such as obstetrics or gynecology. Proficiency with EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for documentation and patient management. Strong clinical skills including pelvic exams, ultrasound interpretation (sonography), and minor procedures like suturing and injections (e.g., botulinum toxin treatment). Knowledge of reproductive health issues, pregnancy care, menopause management, and preventive screening protocols. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining excellent patient communication skills. Experience with telehealth platforms and remote patient monitoring is preferred but not required. Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes and understanding of Workers' Compensation law is advantageous.
