Job Description

Nurse Practitioner - Functional Wellness & Longevity BeeWell Woodlands | The Woodlands, TX | Part-Time | On-Site Help people feel better, perform better, and live better longer. BeeWell Woodlands is seeking a passionate, highly motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our functional wellness practice in The Woodlands, Texas. This is not a traditional primary-care position. We are looking for a clinician who believes healthcare should be proactive, personalized, and focused on understanding why a patient isn't thriving not simply treating symptoms after they appear. At BeeWell, we work with driven professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, athletes, and active adults who want to optimize their health, energy, performance, body composition, recovery, and longevity.
Our philosophy is simple:
Precision. Not guesswork. Root cause. Not band-aids. We use comprehensive assessments, advanced diagnostics, clinical expertise, lifestyle medicine, and individualized wellness strategies to help patients understand their unique biology and create sustainable improvements. The Opportunity As a Nurse Practitioner at BeeWell, you will be an integral part of our functional wellness team. You will work directly with patients to understand their health history, lifestyle, goals, symptoms, and performance demands and then help connect the dots between those factors. This position is ideal for an NP who enjoys spending time with patients, asking better questions, interpreting data, educating patients, and developing personalized strategies rather than working in a high-volume, transactional environment. You will have the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients and become a trusted partner in their health journey. What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive functional wellness and health assessments. Review detailed medical, lifestyle, nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, and family histories. Perform appropriate physical examinations and clinical evaluations. Order, review, and interpret conventional and advanced laboratory testing within your scope of practice. Identify patterns and potential contributing factors underlying symptoms and health concerns. Develop individualized wellness and treatment strategies based on clinical findings, patient goals, and available evidence. Support patients with metabolic health, weight management, energy, sleep, recovery, hormonal health, nutrition, exercise, and healthy aging. Provide individualized education around nutrition, lifestyle, exercise, sleep, stress management, and other appropriate wellness interventions. Prescribe medications when clinically appropriate and within your scope of practice and applicable regulations. Develop and monitor personalized protocols in collaboration with the BeeWell clinical team. Track patient progress using both subjective outcomes and objective data. Adjust recommendations as patient needs and results evolve. Establish strong, long-term relationships with patients through exceptional communication and follow-through. Collaborate with other practitioners to provide a comprehensive, integrated approach to patient care. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation. Participate in developing and improving BeeWell's clinical protocols, patient experience, and functional wellness programs. Stay current with emerging research and best practices in functional, preventive, lifestyle, and performance-focused healthcare. The BeeWell Approach At BeeWell, we believe the body is an interconnected system. Poor sleep, fatigue, difficulty losing weight, declining performance, hormonal changes, stress, inflammation, and other concerns may have multiple contributing factors. Our approach is to look deeper . We utilize comprehensive diagnostics and a functional medicine framework to better understand the patient's individual biology. We then translate those findings into a practical, personalized strategy that may include nutrition, exercise, sleep optimization, lifestyle modification, targeted supplementation, and—when clinically appropriate medical treatment. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all wellness. Every patient has a different biology, history, lifestyle, and goal. Your job is to help us understand that individual picture and turn it into an actionable plan. Who We're Looking For We are looking for more than a provider with the right credentials. We are looking for a curious clinician .
Someone who naturally asks:
Why is this happening? What are we missing? What does the data tell us? What is preventing this patient from thriving? How can we create a plan this patient can actually sustain?
The ideal candidate is:
Passionate about functional wellness and preventive healthcare. Interested in root-cause approaches to health. Curious about the relationship between nutrition, metabolism, hormones, sleep, exercise, stress, and performance. Comfortable reviewing and interpreting laboratory data. An excellent listener and communicator. Comfortable educating highly engaged patients. Able to translate complex clinical information into simple, actionable recommendations. Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Committed to evidence-informed practice while remaining open to emerging science. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Professional, personable, and genuinely invested in the patient experience. Interested in continuously learning and expanding clinical knowledge.
