A Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner provides mental health and nursing care to patients with psychiatric disorders, medical organic brain disorders or substance abuse problems. Diagnoses mental illness, develops treatment plans and prescribes medications. Teaches patient's family about the patient's condition. Works at hospitals with dedicated mental health unit, fully dedicated psychiatric hospital or in independent practice working from nursing homes and physicians' offices.

Job Description

Responsibilities Inperson Provide psychiatric medication management and conservative titration Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Manage a self-selected weekly caseload of in-person and/or telehealth appointments Document patient notes promptly using Simple Practice EMR Collaborate with Dr. Danwar and care team on complex cases Contribute to clinical content and patient education materials as needed
Pay:
$60.00 - $65.00 per hour
