YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
In this role, you will get to work in a mental wellness clinic that offers patients so much more than your average clinic. We believe that treating severe depression, anxiety, treatment-resistant depression, OCD, PTSD, or other serious mental health issues is vastly important and should be done in a holistic way. We help patients conquer these conditions through the latest in psychiatric treatment, including medication management, nutrition, therapy, mindfulness, lifestyle and behavior habits, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). These interventions are invaluable in helping patients achieve better mental health. DUTIES Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Perform diagnostic evaluations and prescribe appropriate medications Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care Educate patients and their families on mental health issues and treatment options
REQUIREMENTS
Possess a valid Nurse Practitioner license Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations Knowledge of basic life support protocols Familiarity with ICD-9 coding and documentation Experience in a psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) setting is preferred Ability to administer IV infusions Understanding of workers' compensation laws related to mental health claims Join our team and make a difference in the lives of individuals struggling with mental health challenges.
