JOB DESCRIPTION
Wound Care experience important Must have clear verbal communication skills Prior primary care and wound care experience a plus Consults with definitive diagnostic results; maintains accurate records Reviews medical history, allergies, symptoms, and current medications Formulates suitable treatment plans Prescribes medications to patients and provides proper dosage and administration instructions Compassionate bedside manner Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Will have a set of scheduled hours with routine and new patients; punctuality is critical This position requires travel in your personal vehicle to see patients in their home setting. Mileage is reimbursed. Company reimbursement for successful Wound Care certification test is available.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANP, AGNP, FNP, ENP, or ACNP) Masters Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Highly recommended certifications (WCC, CWON, or CWS) One year of direct wound care experience At least one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner Prefer experience in Wound Care, Home Care, Emergency Department or Intensive Care Units Must be able to work independently Must be willing to learn and demonstrate the ability to communicate well with family, patients and other team members
Job Type:
Full-time, Monday through Friday. No weekend shifts! If wound care certified, the employee could be eligible for a pay raise. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, paid time off, 401(k).
