Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with orthopedic conditions in both clinic and hospital settings. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations Diagnose and manage acute and chronic orthopedic conditions Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient care Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and rehabilitation. Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Utah Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) DEA registration (or eligibility) Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred but not required Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills We Offer Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and holidays CME allowance Retirement plan Collaborative and supportive work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development
