We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to become part of our staff to care for patients in need! New grads are welcome!! The individual would be responsible for providing mental health treatment to our patients.Responsibilities:
- Record patient medical histories and symptoms
- Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans
- Administer medications and treatments
- Evaluate responses to treatments and medications
- Educate patients and families concerning treatment including dosing protocols, side effects, and anticipated results Requirements
SATURDAYS NEEDED
Degree from an accredited graduate nursing program- Current Utah APRN license in good standing
- Prescriptive authority and current DEA license
- Active advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) Certification, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to work 10 hour shifts two to four times per week depending on full-time or part-time status Qualifications
- Psychology or psychiatric background preferred
- Comfortable with alternative treatments for mental health disorders
- Ability to build a rapport with patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both verbally and in written formats
- Strong leadership ability
- Knowledge of computer based EHR systems and comfortable with performing telehealth appointments Ketamine SLC is not your typical stainless steel doctor's office.
