Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm and occasionally on-call on weekends PRN. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatry PA or NP to join our mental health care team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to clients across diverse age groups and clinical settings. Your expertise will help improve client outcomes, promote mental wellness, and support recovery in a collaborative, client-centered environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges. Duties Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including client history, mental status exams, and diagnostic assessments utilizing clinical research methods and medical terminology. Prescribe and manage psychopharmacology treatments, including medication administration, and injection administration. Develop personalized care plans incorporating behavioral health strategies, trauma-informed care, and acute pain management techniques. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning, case management, and utilization review processes. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient care accurately and maintain medical records compliant with HIPAA regulations. Provide telehealth services leveraging telehealth experience to reach patients remotely while ensuring quality client care and proper triage procedures. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in psychiatric or mental health nursing with your DEA or CDS number. Must have previous experience in mental health or substance abuse field Ability to build rapport with clients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
