A Nurse Practitioner provides primary care and nursing care to patients. Performs physical exams, orders diagnostic tests, and provides medications. Works in a physician's office or other healthcare facility, under the direction of a physician. Performs work similar to that of a physician assistant but has different medical training and degree.

This position is paid on a salaried basis; however, the equivalent hourly rate ranges from $69.00 to $77.00 per hour, depending on experience, location, and FTE status. Total compensation may also include bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. Minimum Qualifications Education:
NP:
Master's in Advanced Clinical Practice or post-master's certificate program
PA:
Graduate of accredited PA program and NCCPA certification
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in
Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine Licensure & Certification:
BLS & ACLS
Certification Licensed FNP or PA in
Virginia DEA License Signed Practice Agreement and Scope of Practice/Protocol Credentialing Requirements:
