Currently operating in 7 facilities in the greater Richmond area, VCI is actively seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. Responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients in collaboration with VCI Physicians in the most beneficial way for the patient. Provides follow-up care, prescribes and adjusts medications, and documents all care provided. Demonstrate the ability to discern relationships between medical facts and clinical data; evaluate alternatives, risks and benefits; use appropriate diagnostic procedures and/or therapies; consider patient preferences when making medical decisions; maintain complete and logical notations to the patient file; demonstrate knowledge of clinical sciences and an understanding of complex relationships and/or mechanisms of disease; exhibit the ability to effectively communicate with patients and family members; conduct new patient education. The candidate must be an independent thinker, have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to multi-task, exhibit self-confidence and remain calm under pressure; must be autonomous and able to make decisions systematically; have excellent organizational skills including being detail oriented, demonstrate a reliable work ethic, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to achieve.
