Medi-Weightloss is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in a pleasant, supportive outpatient setting. Work with motivated patients who want to improve their health and are actively taking steps toward their goals. Visits focus on medical weight management, preventive health, and wellness, with no acute sick visits, no take-home charting, and no on-call requirements. All charting is completed during scheduled shifts. Our evidence-based approach combines individualized treatment, medical oversight, and patient education to support lasting lifestyle changes. Clinical Responsibilities Obtain and review medical and psychosocial histories relevant to patient care. Conduct physical examinations according to clinical protocols and company guidelines. Order and review laboratory studies and diagnostic tests, including ECGs. Provide preventive health counseling, weight management education, and guidance on program products and supplements. Prescribe and manage medications within the provider's scope of practice, company protocols, and applicable practice agreement requirements. Complete accurate EMR documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and medication management during scheduled shifts. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated. Coordinate referrals to other healthcare professionals and facilities when appropriate. Conduct patient follow-up calls during scheduled work hours to assess progress, answer questions, and address concerns. General Responsibilities Review Weight Tracker Reports, Slipping Reports, and assigned performance indicators weekly to support clinical oversight and staff development. Serve as a clinical resource and liaison for medical matters at assigned locations. Participate in ongoing training and provide education and mentorship to medical staff. Identify opportunities to improve clinical efficiency, service capacity, and the patient experience. Participate in pilot programs and the introduction of new services and products. Develop and monitor assigned project work plans.
