Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a busy outpatient primary care practice serving patients across the lifespan, including both adults and children. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of primary care experience , strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment. Primary care experience with a diverse patient population is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Perform histories and physical examinations Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Manage chronic conditions and provide preventive care Provide patient and family education Care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients Prescribe and manage medications Coordinate referrals and care with specialists and other healthcare providers Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records Collaborate with physicians and other members of the clinical team Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a high-volume setting Qualifications Current, active Virginia NP or PA license Minimum 2 years of primary care experience in an advanced practice role Comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients Strong clinical assessment and independent decision-making skills Ability to manage a busy patient schedule efficiently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Patient-centered approach and excellent bedside manner Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a clinical team eClinicalWorks experience is preferred but not required MD/DO candidates may also be considered.
