Description:
Full-Time Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient practice. This full-time role provides an opportunity to deliver comprehensive, high-quality primary care services in a collaborative, team-based environment focused on continuity of care, preventive medicine, and long-term patient relationships.   • Outpatient setting Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions
  • Conduct preventive care visits, health screenings, and patient education
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results
  • Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans in accordance with scope of practice
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Adhere to clinical guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Education
  • Master's degree in Nursing required Licensure / Certification Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or Compact State Licensure required
  • Nurse Practitioner license from the Virginia Department of Health Professions preferred
  • National Nurse Practitioner Certification (or eligibility upon hire) required

Compensation Range:
$123,260.80 - $234,145.60 In addition to your base compensation, VHC Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage (subject to eligibility requirements), as well as additional wellness and retirement benefits designed to support our employees and their families. The compensation offered for this position-whether expressed as an annual salary or hourly rate-is determined based on a variety of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors.
