5 Days per week Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Salud Family Health in Sterling, Co . At Salud, our Physician Assistants & Nurse Practitioners approach their tasks in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change. As a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner at Salud, you will perform routine clinic operations, take histories, and make physical assessments, all the while adhering to the spirit of the SALUD mission statement.

Education:

Must have graduated or been graduating from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

Licensure:

Possess an unrestricted Physician Assistant license or Nurse Practitioner license in good standing in the

State of Colorado Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The ability to speak Spanish is strongly preferred Sensitivity to low-income and ethnic minority communities is a must

Experience:

3 years of experience in a clinical setting as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant preferred About Us Salud is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), 501©3 nonprofit, operating 13 clinic locations, administrative and training site, and a mobile unit. We provide medical, dental, pharmacy and behavioral health care services. As an FQHC Salud is governed by a patient-consumer Board of Directors, which ensures patients direct delivery of healthcare services. Salud receives operational funding from Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) to provide health care services in the communities we serve. We focus on low-income, medically underserved populations as well as the migrant and seasonal farmworker population.
