Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient specialty practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent patient assessment skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced patient care, assist with diagnostic evaluations, and support treatment plans across various neurological and sleep medicine services. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and vital signs documentation. Prescribe medications and treatment regimens in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Manage acute and chronic conditions related to neurology and sleep disorders, including headache management, sleep study follow-ups, and neurological symptom evaluation. Assist with diagnostic evaluations utilizing EMR/EHR systems, order laboratory tests, imaging studies, and interpret results to inform clinical decisions. Provide patient education on disease management, medication administration, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care strategies. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Skills Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Athena, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner. Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics ), individuals with developmental disabilities to include neurologic and sleep disorder needs. Ability to manage situations effectively within outpatient settings while maintaining high standards of patient safety. Excellent communication skills for patient education, case management coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
