Join Our Puyallup Team as a Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner - A Role Designed for You We believe in bringing "better" to our local community in Puyallup—better care, better collaboration, and a deep commitment to the people we serve. If you're looking for a role that supports your professional growth and your connection to a vibrant community, we'd love to talk. We are hiring for a swing and a night hospitalist. A swing hospitalist requires working exclusively on swing shifts (4 pm-2 am). Candidates must be comfortable with the swing schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during swing hours.
Local Team Collaboration:
Join our close-knit team of 40 physicians and 10 APPs at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital.
Qualifications:
Board-certified, experienced nurse practitioner; minimum of 1 year of hospitalist experience preferred. AGACNP preferred; FNPs & PAs only with extensive hospitalist experience. Active NP license or eligible to become licensed in WA. Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
Full-time position follows a 7-day on, 7-day off rotation. Shifts for the swing position are scheduled from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Night shift is 7p-7am and responsibilities are cross cover.
Key Responsibilities:
Swing APPs are responsible for admissions and cross-cover. High level of autonomy. Closed ICU, no codes, hospitalists do respond to rapids. Living and Working in
Puyallup:
Puyallup is located 35 miles south of Seattle and 10 miles East of Tacoma and has a population of over 40,000. Puyallup is host to one of the largest State Fairs in the country and sits at the foot of Mount Rainier, offering endless outdoor activities.
Rewards and Benefits:
Swing yearly salary is $165k. Night salary is $180k, along with opportunities for bonuses based on performance and growth. Excellent total rewards package.
