Job Description
We're hiring a full-time NP or PA to help start a new occupational medicine program at a rural hospital district in Washington. The program is brand new, so you'd have a lot of input on how it's set up. Day to day work includes DOT and pre-employment physicals, workers' comp evaluations, drug and alcohol testing, fit-for-duty exams, and respirator clearances. You need an active WA license and at least two years of experience as an APP. The hospital also runs rural health clinics and a 7-day urgent care clinic. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, CME, malpractice coverage, loan repayment, relocation assistance, and retention bonuses. There's also a $10,000 bonus if you buy a house in the county within your first year. The area is rural with easy access to outdoor recreation and is less than 60 miles from Tacoma.
