Job Duties/Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below. Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health status and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide medication management and prescribe appropriate psychotropic medications to address patients' mental health needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for patients. Offer counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals, families, and groups. Monitor patients' progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medication records. Stay current with advancements in psychiatric care and participate in continuing education to enhance clinical knowledge and skills. Average 28 patient-facing hours weekly after month 3 of employment. Additional duties as assigned at any time with or without advanced notice.

Requirements Job Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job. 3+ years of experience in providing psychiatric care to individuals. Master's degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from an accredited program. Current and unrestricted Washington Nurse Practitioner license. Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from a recognized certifying body. Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment modalities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software.

Certificates/Licenses:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must: Successfully pass background check applicable to position. Maintain current Washington State ARNP license. Possess and maintain current DEA registration. Register as an agency affiliated counselor or obtain behavioral health credential through Washington State Department of Health within 60 days of employment, as required by

WAC 246-341.
