Thriveworks is hiring a remote Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality psychiatric care on evenings and weekends. In this role, you'll deliver virtual evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management for individuals, couples, and families seeking mental health support. You'll use secure telehealth and EHR systems, collaborate closely with therapists and clinical leaders, and follow evidence-based, ethical practices. Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits via secure telehealth platforms Diagnose mental health conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications following best practices and regulations Monitor treatment response, side effects, and safety; adjust care plans as needed Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHRCollaborate with therapists and other providers to coordinate client care Provide risk assessments and safety planning when clients are in crisis Educate clients on diagnoses, medications, and self-management strategies Maintain compliance with legal, ethical, and payer requirements Participate in supervision, case consultation, and professional development Required Skills Psychiatric assessment Mental health diagnosis (DSM-5) Medication management Telehealth platforms Electronic health records (EHR) Treatment planning Risk and crisis assessment Documentation and charting Care coordination Insurance and billing basics
