Job Description

Job description: Health First Urgent Care is a patient-focused urgent care provider serving the Tri-Cities community. With modern facilities in Kennewick, Richland and Pasco, we are committed to delivering high-quality, accessible care in a collaborative and supportive environment. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our fast-paced occupational medicine team. This role offers the opportunity to treat a diverse patient population, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in an outpatient setting. Qualifications Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Active, unrestricted Washington State license DEA registration and prescriptive authority required 2+ years of Urgent Care or Emergency Room experience is preferred not required. DOT certified or eligible. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and injuries in an outpatient urgent care setting Manage acute and ongoing occupational medicine and workers' compensation cases, including DOT physical exams Perform procedures including suturing, splinting, and abscess management Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including labs and imaging Collaborate with medical assistants and X-ray technicians to provide efficient patient care Coordinate referrals and follow-up care as appropriate Manage approximately 30-40+ patients per 12-hour urgent care shift Manage approximately 3-4 patients per hour during an occupational medicine shift.
Pay:
