We are looking for Advanced Practice Clinician's (ARNP or PA) to join our clinics! The Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) functions under the general direction of the Medical Director and Lead Provider, but independently without day-to-day supervision in the performance of advanced practice nursing. This position will be providing full scope of preventive and ambulatory medical services within the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice. This position provides general primary care including chronic care management, preventive services, health maintenance and urgent care treatment in an outpatient setting.
Essential Functions:
Exercises judgment in interpreting health and illness status, performing a comprehensive assessment and diagnosis, integrating diagnostic findings, and interpreting the need for referrals. Obtains a health history and using the problem-oriented format, develops a problem list and initiates a plan of treatment. Performs a physical examination on the patient, orders, performs and evaluates basic laboratory procedures. Prescribes and/or dispenses prescribed legend drugs and treatments in treating acute and chronic health problems. Provides health education and counseling for a wide variety of patient conditions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Washington State licenses for RN and ARNP; PA with prescribing authority. Must be eligible for malpractice insurance. 3 years' experience involved in direct patient care. Graduation from an approved/accredited program. Maintain Board Certification. Current CPR/BLS #INDCH1
