A Nurse Practitioner provides primary care and nursing care to patients. Performs physical exams, orders diagnostic tests, and provides medications. Works in a physician's office or other healthcare facility, under the direction of a physician. Performs work similar to that of a physician assistant but has different medical training and degree.
Position Summary The ThedaCare Orthopedic program is growing and seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Orthopedic Walk-In team to be located within the new state-of-the-art 230,000 sq. ft. dedicated orthopedic, spine, and pain care facility. This position will be highly independent, but also having access to collaborate with subspecialties within the facility. Most common cases treated at the Orthopedic Walk In clinic include sprains, strains, fractures, or dislocations.
