Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant :

Lead and coordinate care across the continuum, emphasizing continuity and multidisciplinary collaboration. Host independent clinics to address ambulatory care needs. Independently round on patients when hospitalized. UW Health's Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Advisory Council ensures that your voices are heard. This unique advisory council serves to promote, support, advocate and advise on APP practice and provide expertise and counsel on APP roles across the organization. This position offers extensive training alongside nationally recognized pediatric and adult neurosurgeons to foster deep expertise in congenital neurosurgical conditions across the lifespan. As a foundational member of this care model, you will assist in establishing best practices and shaping clinical workflows that will ultimately serve as a model for similar programs across the country. Education:

Minimum•

If Nurse Practitioner:

Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.

If Physician Assistant:

Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum•

If Nurse Practitioner:

Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND Active board certification as a NP in Acute Care only (Adult or Adult/Gerontology will be considered only if previous ICU experience).

If Physician Assistant:

Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND Active PA board certification.
