Job Description

RAMC is looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Walk-In Care Clinic in a Per Diem/As-Needed position! This is a great opportunity to join a supportive healthcare team while providing convenient, high-quality care to patients in our community.
Schedule:
  • Per Diem / As Needed
  • Every third weekend
  • 7:00 AM - 5:00
PM Position Details:
The Nurse Practitioner/PA functions within the Nurse Practitioner's/PA scope of practice, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to independently manage and direct patient care, which will be comprehensive, safe, and efficient. This individual offers available resources and educational opportunities to patients, support personnel, and community members. They are responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, health promotion, and care coordination for patients. The NP demonstrates an advanced level of clinical knowledge, communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, professionalism, and evidence-based practice. They work with administration, nursing, physicians, and other staff to assure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.
Education and Training Required:
Graduate from an accredited NP/PA school. Current licensure as an RN and APNP/PA in Wisconsin. Board-certified adult Nurse Practitioner or Family Practitioner. BLS certified. Meets health requirements. 1-2 years of experience preferred
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to work in a clinic environment with appropriate technological support. Must be able to deal with multiple priorities calmly. Requires decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Recognizes legal responsibilities and functions as specified by Wisconsin State law. Any additional training for specific areas of focus hired for.
