Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Gastroenterology

Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner job description - An established and thriving gastroenterology practice in Cheyenne, WY is looking to add a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to their team. The practice sees a wide range of GI issues and has an excellent reputation in the area. Candidates with prior gastroenterology experience will be given priority, but candidates who related experience as an APP will also be considered. Collaborates with physicians in all aspects of patient evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and record reviews Orders, interprets, and reviews diagnostic and laboratory studies to guide clinical decision-making Prescribes medications and initiates treatment plans in alignment with established protocols and physician oversight Monitors patient progress, adjusts management plans as needed, and ensures continuity of care Documents all encounters, clinical findings, and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly in the medical record Participates in ongoing gastroenterology and hepatology continuing education to maintain specialty-specific knowledge Provides clinical and administrative support for patient management and other related operational needs as assigned Wyoming License required Apply today to learn more about this excellent Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner opportunity!
