About the TeamOur medical department is dedicated to helping our clients improve their lives through a coordinated approach to care involving clients, their caregivers, their clinical staff, and primary care providers. The Certified Nursing Assistants work as members of the medical/nursing team to provide care to a mentally ill population.
What Youll DoClinical Duties:
Assist with patient intake, including vital signs, height/weight, and health history updatesPrepare patients for examinations and proceduresSupport providers during patient visits as neededObserve and report changes in patient condition to clinical staffAssist with specimen collection and basic lab procedures (if applicable)Maintain clean, safe, and organized exam roomsSupport behavioral health patients with appropriate sensitivity and confidentialityReinforce care plans and patient education under provider direction
Behavioral Health Support Duties:
Help maintain a calm, safe, and therapeutic environmentSupport patients during check-in and rooming, especially those who may be in distressCommunicate effectively with behavioral health providers regarding patient needsFollow protocols for safety and crisis situations
Administrative Duties:
Assist with scheduling, appointment reminders, and follow-upsSupport patient check-in/check-out processesMaintain accurate and timely EHR documentationHelp manage phone calls, messages, and care coordination tasksAssist with referrals, prior authorizations, and coordination of careMonitor and restock clinical and office suppliesSupport clinic policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsGood To KnowPosition is based in
Fairbanks, AlaskaFull-Time, Non-Exempt Pay Range:
$21.50 - $26.25 depending on experience. Eligible for up to $7,200 in incentive with the average being $2,600Student Loan Repayment and Tuition Assistance is Available Professional Growth is encouraged!
