Healing Touch Home Care, LLC is dedicated to delivering high-quality home health care to patients who need assistance with daily living in the comfort of their homes. We are a compassionate team of healthcare professionals who provide personalized care that promotes the health, dignity, and independence of our patients. We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health CNA to join our team and provide essential support to our patients in their homes.
Position Overview:
As a Home Health CNA , you will provide hands-on care to patients in their homes, assisting with daily activities, and helping to improve their overall quality of life. You will work closely with RNs, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate care while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, light housekeeping, assistance with laundry. Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers and falls. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and needs. Assist nursing staff with medical procedures as needed. Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR). Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and care strategies. Qualifications Current, valid CNA certification in the state of Alaska. Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent experience in senior care or home care settings is highly desirable and preferred. Valid CPR/BLS certification. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation to travel to patients' homes. Background check is

Pay:
$18.00 - $29.00 per hour
