Responsibilities Conduct patient intake processes, including collecting medical history and recording vital signs accurately. Assist doctor. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) by documenting patient encounters, updating medical records, and ensuring data accuracy. Support clinical operations by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing medical supplies inventory. Perform basic physiology and anatomy assessments to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards and ICD coding for billing and record-keeping purposes. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, offering reassurance, and facilitating smooth patient flow through the clinic or hospital setting. Qualifications Valid certification as a Nurse (RN or LPN) or Medical Assistant with relevant clinical experience. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and ICD coding. Experience working in general surgery, hospital medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine or related specialties is highly desirable. Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems), EMR/EHR management tools, and medical documentation protocols. Skills in phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs measurement, and basic life support certification (BLS). Previous outpatient or clinic experience is valued. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence; ability to work effectively within a team environment.
