Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health and safety Support residents with dementia or cognitive disabilities through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers and repositioning Transport the clients to doctor's appointments and errands is mandatory so having your own vehicle with insurance, a valid driver's license and insurance is required Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental well-being and social interaction Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly desirable/ Min of 2 years Professional experience Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory support techniques Ability to operate standard passenger cars for transportation needs when necessary Experience working with individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely throughout shifts Join us in delivering compassionate care that transforms lives!
