Certified Nursing Assistant Pine Haven Rehabilitation and Wellness Center Prichard, AL Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications CNA Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and hardworking Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing home team on the 3:00 PM-11:00 PM shift. The CNA will provide direct resident care, assist with activities of daily living, promote resident dignity and independence, and work closely with nurses and other staff to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and other personal-care needs. Assist residents with meals, feeding, and hydration as needed. Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident requests. Assist residents with walking, transfers, repositioning, and use of mobility equipment. Take and record vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions to the nurse. Provide incontinence care and maintain residents' cleanliness and comfort. Assist residents with their evening and bedtime routines. Make beds and maintain clean, orderly resident rooms and common areas. Document care provided accurately according to facility procedures. Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition. Treat every resident with dignity, respect, patience, and compassion. Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies and procedures. Work cooperatively with nurses, CNAs, dietary staff, housekeeping, and other members of the care team. Protect residents' privacy and confidentiality at all times. Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of employment. Previous nursing home or long-term care experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning residents. Schedule 11:00 PM-7:00 AM | Night Shift This position is ideal for a CNA who enjoys providing compassionate evening care and helping residents feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for as they prepare for the night.
